We have all been pulled over and given a traffic ticket for a violation that could range from speeding to tailgating. You may have received this infraction from a city police officer, county sheriff, or a member of the Washington State Patrol. Traffic Infractions are non-criminal offense which carries a fine here in the state of Washington. The problem is that traffic infractions cause you to pay more for insurance and if you get too many infractions you may lose your driving privileges. 

Most people choose to pay these fines to be done with them. The problem is that when you pay that fine, you are agreeing that you committed the offense, your driving record is adversely affected for the next three years, and your insurance premiums will likely go up hundreds of dollars a year. If you receive too many infractions you could be placed on probation and if you continue to get infractions, you could have your driving privilege revoked for a period of time.
